HEDVI / 01

Your building has a rhythm.
Its energy should move with it.

A busy atrium. A quiet wing. A meeting room that emptied an hour ago. Fixed schedules cannot tell the whole story. HEDVI connects presence, indoor conditions and equipment data to help your building respond.

THE INTELLIGENCE IN ACTION

Your building speaks.
HEDVI responds.

Sensors read the building. HEDVI AI connects the signals. Control commands flow back to the equipment — one continuous loop.

BUILT AROUND THE WAY YOU WORK

Different spaces.
One smarter approach.

The opportunity starts where fixed schedules and actual demand drift apart.

01

Office buildings

Hybrid work changes the rhythm of a building. Use presence insights to adapt zone operation when desks and meeting rooms are empty.

02

Shopping centres

Visitor flows shift between shops, dining areas and shared spaces. Presence insights help understand changing climate demand throughout the day.

03

Property portfolios

Create a consistent framework for assessment and reporting across buildings. Evaluate each asset on its own infrastructure and baseline.

THE EXTRA LAYER OF UNDERSTANDING

Wi-Fi becomes
a presence signal.

A room changes the way radio signals travel. Human activity changes that pattern. Wi-Fi sensing analyzes those changes to provide an additional input for building control.

No camera feed

The sensing concept uses radio-channel information rather than images. Data handling, retention and access are specified during pilot design.

A signal, not an assumption

Presence is interpreted with confidence and context. A quiet occupant, furniture changes and multiple people are part of the validation.

Designed for practical integration

Compatible sensing hardware and placement are assessed on site. Existing Wi-Fi infrastructure is not automatically suitable for CSI sensing.

ENGINEERED WITH PURPOSE

Less waste.
More understanding.

Developed by a team of German engineers, HEDVI brings sensing, building controls and measurable performance together.

01 /

Start with your building

We assess your HVAC systems, controls, connectivity and available meter data before defining the pilot.

02 /

Connect the right signals

Combine occupancy insights with indoor conditions, weather and equipment data. Integration depends on your existing infrastructure.

03 /

Keep comfort in the loop

Define operating limits and comfort requirements alongside energy goals, with a clear path for manual intervention.

04 /

Measure before making claims

Agree on the measurement boundary, baseline and reporting method. Evaluate energy savings and sensing reliability in the pilot.

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Before we connect.

What matters when evaluating HEDVI for your building.

Is HEDVI a replacement for our building management system?

HEDVI is conceived as an intelligence layer around existing controls. The integration scope depends on the systems, available interfaces and permissions in your building.

How much energy will our building save?

There is no responsible universal answer. Potential depends on current operating practices, HVAC demand, occupancy patterns and the measurement boundary. A pilot establishes what can be demonstrated.

Does it work with any Wi-Fi router?

No. Channel State Information requires compatible hardware and firmware. A site assessment determines the sensing equipment and network arrangement.

What happens if presence detection is uncertain?

The control concept must include fallback schedules, comfort limits and manual intervention. An uncertain sensing signal must not be treated as proof that a space is empty.

How do you separate savings from a mild winter?

A suitable baseline accounts for weather and other relevant operating conditions. The reporting plan also records non-routine changes and evaluates model uncertainty.

What is needed to start a pilot?

Start with the building profile, HVAC and controls information, meter history and expected use patterns. Together we define the integration, success criteria and measurement plan.
